MathFocus is an online educational platform designed to assist students studying the South African CAPS Grade 12 Pure Mathematics syllabus. The platform provides educational resources including:

• Practice questions
• Topic revision
• Past examination papers
• Memorandums
• Progress tracking
• AI tutoring
• Study recommendations

MathFocus is intended solely as a learning aid and does not guarantee examination results or academic performance.

To use MathFocus you must:

• Be at least 13 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• Provide accurate registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activity occurring under your account.

MathFocus operates on a subscription basis. Access to premium learning resources requires an active paid subscription. Without an active subscription, users may have limited or no access to educational content. Subscriptions provide access only for the duration of the selected billing period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd. ("Paddle"). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, refunds, chargebacks, billing, tax collection and remittance, and payment method support on our behalf.

When you purchase access to MathFocus, you enter into a separate contract with Paddle for the payment transaction, which is governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. For billing, payment, invoicing, and refund questions, contact Paddle via paddle.net.

By purchasing you agree to:

• Pay all applicable subscription fees.
• Provide valid payment information.
• Authorise recurring payments where applicable.

Prices may change in the future. Existing subscribers will be notified before any pricing changes take effect.

MathFocus offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on new purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the order date. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts. You agree not to:

• Share your account with others.
• Allow multiple users to access a single subscription.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.

MathFocus reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in account sharing or fraudulent activity.

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious software.
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform.
• Reverse engineer the website.
• Copy, scrape or redistribute content without permission.
• Use automated software to access the platform.
• Share copyrighted materials obtained from MathFocus.

Any misuse may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination.

MathFocus strives to provide accurate educational material aligned with the South African CAPS curriculum. However:

• Content may occasionally contain errors.
• Curriculum requirements may change over time.
• Users should verify important information with official educational sources where appropriate.

MathFocus continually updates its educational content.

The MathFocus AI Tutor is designed to assist students with learning mathematics. The AI Tutor:

• Provides educational guidance.
• Explains mathematical concepts.
• Generates practice questions.
• Suggests revision strategies.

The AI Tutor should not be considered infallible. Users are encouraged to verify important calculations and consult teachers where necessary. MathFocus is not responsible for decisions made solely on AI-generated responses.

MathFocus records learning progress to personalise the educational experience. Progress information may include:

• Topics completed
• Questions attempted
• Accuracy
• Study sessions
• AI Tutor interactions
• Revision recommendations

This information is used solely to improve the user's learning experience.

All content on MathFocus, including but not limited to questions, notes, solutions, graphics, logos, branding, website design, software, AI prompts and databases, is owned by or licensed to MathFocus and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.

Past examination papers and memorandums available on MathFocus remain subject to the intellectual property rights of their respective owners. MathFocus provides access to such materials for educational purposes only.

If users submit comments, suggestions, or other content, they grant MathFocus a non-exclusive licence to use that content to improve the platform. Users remain responsible for the legality of any content they submit.

While MathFocus aims to provide uninterrupted access, we do not guarantee continuous availability. The platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures, security updates or third-party service interruptions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MathFocus shall not be liable for examination results, academic performance, data loss, service interruptions, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Your use of MathFocus is at your own risk.

Your use of MathFocus is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of personal information in accordance with applicable South African data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), where applicable.

MathFocus reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the AI Tutor, share subscriptions, or attempt to compromise platform security. Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform.

MathFocus may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of South Africa.
